As of September 2023, Hunter’s Hybrid Radiologic Technology program is accredited by the (JRCERT) with the maximum eight year award.
Recognition by JRCERT also qualifies our program’s graduates for eligibility to apply for and take the certification exam for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required for a New York State license to practice as a radiologic technologist.

ARRT is the world’s largest organization offering credentials in medical imaging, interventional procedures, and radiation therapy. It certifies and registers technologists in a range of disciplines by overseeing and administering education, ethics, and examination requirements.
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® (ARRT) examination satisfies New York State’s licensing requirements to practice as a licensed radiologic technologist (X-ray tech) anywhere in the state. New York State licenses are issued by the New York State Department of Health upon passing the ARRT exam.
